Located in the heart of Tooele Valley, Deseret Peak Complex is a year-long hot spot of action, with more than 20 recreational and entertainment venues spread across 600 acres.

An Olympic-size swimming pool with multiple lanes, diving board area, wading pool, water amusements and slide is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Nearby the pool are soccer fields, softball diamonds, playgrounds, indoor and outdoor arenas, pavilions, two museums, plus motocross, BMX and ATV racetracks. There’s also a horse racetrack, an archery park, and a nine-hole pitch-and-putt golf course.

The complex also offers six full-service RV hookups. To make reservations call (435) 843-4020. Deseret Peak has a full schedule of special events every year, including demolition derbies, rodeos, the county fair, concerts and more.

When the weather turns cold the complex continues to host events like professional rodeos, wrestling, BMX and a variety of other competitions and events in the indoor arena.

Deseret Peak is centrally located between Tooele and Grantsville Cities. It was originally built in 1999 by the Tooele County Commission to provide a permanent home for the Tooele County Fair, further diversify the county’s tourism/visitor market, and to expand the area’s recreational and entertainment opportunities.

For a full schedule of Deseret Peak Complex’s events and for more information on venues and times of operation, call (435) 843-4020 or visit deseretpeakcomplex.com.
